The Sims 4 (2014): A strategic life simulation video game developed by the Redwood Shores studio of Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the fourth major title in The Sims series. It was announced on May 6, 2013 and released in North America on September 2, 2014 for Microsoft Windows. The Sims 4 focuses on creating and controlling a neighborhood of virtual people, called "Sims". The Sims 4 boasts an overhauled and intuitive Create a Sim, updated building tools, and deeper, more complex Sims through the addition of emotions and new traits.

Pancake Family: A pre-made household featured in Willow Creek, from The Sims 4 base game. It consists of the couple, Bob Pancakes and Eliza Pancakes. The two appeared in the official 'Stay Weirder' trailer for The Sims 4, which featured Bob as the protagonist (described as "the least interesting Sim in the world"). Bob's ambition is to become a Master Chef and make the best pancakes in the world and to stop having arguments with his wife. LOL πŸ˜‚

"Poor, poor Bob and Eliza – have they ever been happy? It seems there’s nothing one can do to please the other. Just what is keeping this couple together? Or, conversely, what is the spark that will finally drive them apart?"

POTATO PANCAKES INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups potatoes (peeled and cut in cubes)

  • 1 cup carrot (grated)

  • 1 cup shredded cheese

  • Some onion (minced)

  • 1 - 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/8 TSP salt

  • 1 cup bread crumbs

  • Vegetable oil (for cooking)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Place the potatoes into boiling water and let it cook for 5 - 8 minutes.

2. Once done, remove excess water and mashed it.

3. Add in the rest of the ingredients except the bread crumbs (carrots, cheese, onion, all-purpose flour and salt). Mix everything until combined.

4. Use a large spoon, divide the mixture into portions (depending on how big you want your pancakes). Roll each portion into a compact ball then flatten it into a pancake. Place some bread crumbs in a shallow dish and dredge each pancake.

5. Heat some vegetable oil in a cooking pan over medium heat. Fry the pancakes in batches until they turned golden brown and crispy on both sides around 2 - 3 minutes. Be mindful, not to overcrowded the pancakes in one pan and do not flip the pancakes too soon or they won't develop a crisp crust! All done!
