—Anna and Marnie make a pact

If you have already watched the film, "When Marnie was There" you will came across a heartwarming scene where Marnie offer a plate of thumbprint cookies to Anna on her rowboat, "Hop in! I've got a picnic. I brought you some cookies" - Marnie.

This scene creates a bridge to an emotional gap between a grandmother and her granddaughter with the grandma feeding her granddaughter once again (hearkening back to memories Anna doesn’t even know she has).
